Black screen?
After installing the game, I find its a black screen and music. Does anyone know a fix?

Are you launching the game (SEGAGameRoom.exe) directly without Steam? I tested game earlier with Steam and it works fine (though it's still a crap emulator), but when trying to execute it directly without Steam running in the background, it just turns up a black screen that wouldn't go any further than that. You might want to try and revalidate your files just in case something got corrupted. Not sure if this is Sega trying to curb piracy but seems pointless already since the damage has been done and the (superior) Simple emulator isn't restricted to require Steam.

Well said, unless you're going for the achievement there isn't much reason to run the 3D Unity Room when Simple Launcher's emulator doesn't require anywhere near as much resources to run.

I was launching it from my steam library. I will try validating files.

Ok, I had to use the simple launcher. the other option was still a black screen. All this because I wanted to play fatal labyrinth on my pc instead of my son's tiny handheld lol.

I had the same problem today. But it worked fine a day before. There was a weird bug in another, online game too.
I've restarted PC, Steam unpacked something before launch (probably some update), and now it works again, so try restarting everything...
I've also updated an internal GPU driver because there were a notification, but I doubt it's the cause because it's already worked. But it never hurts to check if you have the best driver for your GPU, integrated or not. Also, there might be some problems with codecs, theoretically, so if it still won't work, try installing some codecs pack.
Turn off scaling in windows.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
