Streets of Rage 2 Input Lag

Anyone else getting really bad input lag while playing SoR 2? I used multiple controllers and none made a difference. Mainly curious if it's just my computer being too old or if it's an issue others are having as well.

Ah cool thanks for answering. Kinda disappointed it wasn't a problem just on my end though since I was gonna build a new PC later this week anyway but at least this means it's an issue Sega can hopefully fix soon for other users.

Late to the party I know but .....
I think it's a problem with the actual game.

I also have this on my phone (Google) and have a rom on here.

The input lag is the same.

Meanwhile through the same emulator SoR3 feels great with no perceived lag.

I haven't really touched the Genesis Collection since then but I know it's not an issue with the game. I own an actual Sega Genesis copy along with a CRT and had both when I made my initial post. Maybe the input lag got fixed later dunno haven't really bothered with it since then.
