How do I actually play games?

I've bought several Mega Drive games in the past, Gunstar Heroes and Golden Axe, for example, but they're not in my Steam library. If I search for them in the store, it says I've already bought them. There's a Play button, but it does nothing.

How do I actually play them? There seems to be no way of downloading this new hub thing, nor the old Classics launcher.

Look for "SEGA Genesis & Mega Drive Classics". All the Genesis games are lanched through that.

The games are only for Windows.
If you don't have a PC with windows on it then I would suggest you to refund the game or get a PC with windows.
To refund a game you go to the Steam Support (in the Steam Client at the top left corner under "Help") and go to your recent purchases. The rest should explain itself.

Hm...that is strange...unless you are using a very old windows I wouldn't know what the problem here could be.

I have a similar issue, once I select my game, it zooms into the TV but nothing happens.

I don't even get that far - there's a Play button in steam but it does nothing

Something strange is going on. If, from the library page of my installed version, I click "Store Page" it goes to the main Steam store page rather than the one specific to Classics. It does the same if I click the "Find more DLC" button instead. Also, the store page for the big bundle of all of the games is missing and no longer appears in search results.

The Sega Genesis Emulator has no store page so it takes you to the main page of steam instead.

highlight the game in your library do not open it just highlight on that same page where is says dlc the game you listed will be showen are the boxes checked or not checked.

If they are not checked make sure to check them

I am glad I am not the only one who can not play :( I was given sonic 1 and 2 and even on simple load it does like a demo launch and that is it. Plays a round by itself and goes back to the sega screen. I do not know what to do to get the games to play. I was surprised to see the games as DLC. I thought that was only for add on type things.

In the "game room" program, I cannot select any other games other than "Alex The Kidd." Yet if I use the "Sega Genesis Classics" launcher, I can go through all my games albeit very slowly. Why is this?!?
