Dithering
Any chances for anti-dithering filter? Waterfalls on Sonic series looks horrible and other games that use this method for transparencies or fades.

fusion emulator had a filter that solved this. it would be welcome here.
Yes, they could include the anti-dithering shaders GDAPT or MDAPT which are free and get rid of the dithering. It's free and some emulators already work with it nowadays

If only it could run libretro shaders; RetroArch has a pretty good NTSC filter: https://imgur.com/RV70FWZ
Yeah, nowadays people don't have idea of what was the dithering effect used on CRT Televisions. They think that Genesis/Mega Drive graphics sux because of all that checkerboard pattern on the background images, but they don't know this wasn't how it was supposed to be seen. It was supposed to be played on CRT Televisions as a technique to increase the amount of color, shading and for transparency effects. Playing it on modern monitors ruin all of it.

Ahn I think it looks similar if not exactly like @vk7xp above, maybe you guys are using the same configuration haha

The way I like is some anti-dithering to get away with the parallel lines and checkerboard patterns on the background graphics + a good and smooth scanline filter to make things less aliasing/jagged and bring the true colors, true shadows and true forms as it was intended with CRT Televisions, but without all the blurring
