The hell it does, you don't even have it, so buzz off.
No one should have to get a high-end PC to run an emulator inside a poorly optimized Unity hub.
This comment is so true.
This emulator can't properly emulate the Yamaha YM2612 chipshet, which is kinda sad :(
Yet non commercial ones can like Fusion and Gen+GS it is just stupid.
Games run perfectly fine and no issue detected with my not-high-end pc, so I am assuming you're either trying to trigger reactions or you're playing with one of those first desktops released shortly after Sega Mega Drive.
so thats that
I tried the emulator on both an old family lappy and on jmy samsung ultrabook, had performance issues with all the settings turned down
ironically enough it worked just fine with the simple launcher
Sorry you will have issues with this emulator it has been proven there are problems with it. The sound in Streets of Rage is garbled, graphics in Alien Solider are Glitchy and that is just the tip of the Iceberg. There is issues all round regardless of the syse your playing it on.
That's because this is based off of Jenesis, which has absolute garbage YM2612 emulation. Anyone who tries to say it's "good enough" is clearly delusional. The audio emulation is broken, it's pathetic that unofficial programs do it better than this.
Kega Fusion has the best sound quality and filters and can emulate NEARLY all 8 bit and 16 bit Sega games and has the best sound quality and graphics filters. GENS+GS can emulate 100% of megadrive game including pirate software unreleased games and games exceeding 6MB in size. It also can emulate all 8 bit and 16 bit Sega Consoles. Downside is there are not as many graphic filters and the sound is not as good as Fusions. You can get GENS GS+ in either retro arch or Bizhawk multi system emulators but not as a stand alone one for some reason.
Yes but Kega fusions does not have a 100% emultion unlike GENS+GS does.
Kega Fustion does not except roms above 5MB in size, Piers Solor Beta I believe is only 3.5MB so it will except it. Also like I said as well it does not except a lot pirate or unreleased games like Star Odysee and Legend of Wukong. But everything can be played in GENS+GS though.
