This Is The Worst Emulator Ever
Alright first off, this room thing is way too slow and takes forever just to get to the options as well as get in-game. It's atrocious. Next, games run way too slow. even in full screen, and I can feel alot of input lag. It's really bad. There's also alot of audio emulation issues, skipping and such. The control configuration is also very terrible and needs a major overhaul.

This is supposed to be like an officially licensed Sega Genesis emulator that people pay money for but there's 3rd party ones out there that are way better and much easier to use, including options like online play.

Try some of those things if your CPU isn't strong enought.

Yeah, my computer sucks when it runs far more demanding games run just fine. The problem is this emulator is a piece of junk.

I'm running the emulator using the simple launcher, not that awful room hub thing, and I can still feel input lag, and there's still audio emulation issues, especially in Virtua Fighter 2.

It's more that the game room isn't optimized that well and unity is often known to not be that good performance wise.

games run perfectly

He said he does.
I use the room hub and don't have any input lag or other problems, it works perfectly fine. I can even have Steam downloading something onto the same harddrive while playing the games and it doesn't bother the emulator at all.

Must be the computer, maybe outdated drivers, a virus or whatever. People are always quick to cry and damn the developers to hell instead of first looking at their PC, of course that takes some knowledge and time. It's easier to say "This is a piece of ♥♥♥♥".

your computer is a potato :steamhappy:

After spending some more serious time with this, I came to conclusion that this emulator sucks even when ran through Simple Launcher.

Good luck finishing Shining Force games, especially if you try to be a purist by relying on in-game saves instead of emulator ones.

It's still acceptable for short arcade games, but nothing longer.

You can tell him his computer is ♥♥♥♥, but you'd be overlooking the fact that emulating a nearly thirty year old, 16-bit console shouldn't be this demanding to your computer in the first place.

I don't think the emulation is the demanding part, it is more the HUB. If you just want to play the games then use the simple launcher without the lag.

I can buy most of these on Wii U's virtual console which run better than the pc emulater

well if hes running pc98 then ya 16 bit is very demanding...

I get all the same lag/audio issues as the OP... my computer is definately not a potato. Hub or no hub I should be able to run something many many times more complex than this without getting even the hint of lag
