how does player 2 fly as tails

also is it possible to use the sonic and knuckles with sonic 1 and 2

also which games are split screen local multiplayer/co op

Tails can't fly on sonic 2 as player 2, I believe that has mod for Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 2 you can use it if you bought the 2 games. All games that have local multiplay can be played online. As all Streets of Rage, All Golden Axe , Altered beast , Gunstar Heroes , Bio Hazard battle ,Bonanza Brothers , Eternal Champions, Alien Storm , Crack down ,Sonic 2 , Sonic 3 & K , Toejam and Earl games, Virtual Fighter 2 ,Eternal Champions, Wonderboy 3, Dr Robotinic bean mahine, Gain Ground and Collums games.We can't play mods online or play the alternative region online.

thanks, i just wanted to play with my son on local co op, not online. shame tails cant fly like on the megadrive though, i have pretty much all games except 2 or 3 but when i have checked them in the store, eg streets of rage 2, sonic 2 etc.......they all say single player................

I'm pretty sure Tails couldn't fly in Sonic 2 on the Mega Drive. He only got the ability in Sonic 3.

nah you could lift sonic for a short duration of time, there are places you can only get to by tails lifting you

yeh you are right i checked it, sonic 3 you could but not 2

The good thing is - unlike on the Mega Drive - on the PC there's probably a mod to make that possible.

ROM Hacks can be played on an actual Sega Genesis with an Everdrive, but those are pricey.
