NID would be really the only thing I'd be interested in and it is a far cry from having an actual collection of Saturn games to choose from. Also these other games you mentioned, most if not all, are already on other consoles and or versions similar enough through physical copies and or digital downloads.
This is what I am talking about! I want these types of games to be able to be downloaded and played. Buying a used copy of PDS is like $1,000!!! That is insane, plus buying it used no matter how cheap does no good for Sega anyway. There are a lot of good Saturn games, although they may mostly be the Japanese versions since Sega of America was pretty stupid around that time.
Give us more "good" Saturn games and I and others will buy more Sega products. Keep giving us rehashes of the same Streets of Rage and Golden Axe we have had since we were children and also able to get from any other source imaginable and have been as previously mentioned, and the need to buy these become less and less. Also obviously we will need the Japanese games to be with English subtitles at least, as these are no mere button mashers for the most part any more in the Saturn/PS1 era.
The other difficulty is simply what games would be included? There is no Sonic Saturn games to fit the brand, exclusives include heavy titles like Burning Rangers, Dragon Force, Dark Saviour, SF3 and PDS - a couple of other titles like Guardian Heroes and Daytona USA actually jumped to 360 download shop, Sega Rally, Sonic R and PD1 got original PC ports. Other games like Riglord saga/Mystaria is simply NOT worth re-releasing. That covers most of Saturn's noteworthy console exclusives - the rest were on competetor consoles like 3DO and PS1.
Nostalgic for us Saturn users (most of whom still own them on disk) but not a lot of revenue to be made, unfortunately.
Surely there are more note worthy games than that on the Saturn, even if only on the Japanese side. And what you described is the same exact thing with the Genesis games as I already explained, everyone and their grandmother already has them. Most people do not have Saturn games.
What do you mean still have them?
Kinda of a updated remaster for those games if you get what Im trying to say.
