Yes you can. Any game that has 2 players can be played online now.

You both need to own it though and you can invite them through Steam

In reality yeah the answer is correct, but both players need to have the same OS, like WIndows - Windows, or Mac - Mac... If one have Windows and the other Mac, it won't work, it will say that your friend is in a different platform to play..

I did not know that.

Right? Because just a few people use different OSs, but since i have a friend that have a MAC i could test that for myself. Basically the online mode puts you in a pool, and if it find someone using a MAC (if you're using MAC), it will find the match, if not... Too bad! Because you're going to need install Windows just to play like the majority of people and have high chances to play with someone.

Hello people, sorry for ask i have stret of rage 1,2,3 , on the game page it's writted only 1person game and remote play together..you confirm we can invite friend if we both own it? (if yes why the ♥♥♥♥ they don't mention it and says only 1 person....) sorry bad english...thank you !!
