Anyone got any tips for the Golden Axe Trilogy challenges?

So, I've been struggling with these challenges the most.
The challenge for Golden Axe 1 is simply "beat level 8 of The Duel but your health is low!" and I do this...but I don't get the clear. So I was wondering: is this challenge just broken or do I have to keep clearing stages until it says I won? Or does it want me to actually finish The Duel with 3 HP?

The other two challenges, I just need plain tips for.
Golden Axe 2 pits you against two skeletons with an insane amount of HP and a big suit of armor. I've gotten as far as taking the skeletons down, but not finishing the armor off. Anyone have any good way of taking care of those annoying skeletons? Because they're the real boss, if you ask me. The armor by itself is a pushover, but the skeletons wittle me down to nothing by the time I can tackle him properly.

And Golden Axe 3, you're against these two minotaurs but anytime they're in my attack range, I'm already well within their attack range, and their attacks seem to take priority over mine. So...any tips, anyone?

For GA1, you are supposed to win after beating that stage (a single battle). Sounds like a bug? I heard somebody having similar bug with another challenge.

For GA2, try to quickly jump attack left and right when surrounded by skeletons.

For GA3, I have never figured out effective tactics against minotaurs. So I guess that first you have to get pro with a game a bit. But sometimes double jumping over minotaur (so they try to attack while you are above, missing) and then kicking over their heads work. Maybe sometimes you have to block them first.

I actually cleared the GA3 by a sheer fluke. I somehow knocked one of the minotaurs out of bounds and managed to squeak by getting the other one dead. Thank you.

For anyone who's still struggling with the GA3 challenge: Use the Panther's special attack (Forward, back, forward, attack + jump). You become inmune to damage while you do it so it's a guaranteed hit against any enemy. Keep both Minotaurs at bay with this attack and it'll be a piece of cake.
