How does online multiplayer work?

I've tried playing co-op on Golden Axe 1 with others I met online, but the game doesn't recognise the other player! How do I get it to start 2 player mode?

You choose 2 players on the in game menu screen for each megadrive game:)

You are using the multiplayer section to the left of the Television to search for people arent you?

in the left side of tv there is the option seach mathmaking,filter game( you can disable the games that you don't want to play online).when it find a math in the top of the screen shown the name of the game and the name of the player on steam,you have to accept it fast (it has time bar). region change don't work on online multiplayer only the defaults.

Yeah, I'm using the online match-making option, the phone on the floor. Even with the other player connected, They can't do anything!

I tried that when I was player two. It didn't respond to me at all.

Golden Axe has to hit start before the menu. It's incredibly finicky and you might have to reset the Gene.

When I try to reset the game, it calls a vote and even if we both vote yes, it doesn't do anything.

I've run into that issue once or twice. Might be a weird desync
