USB controllers

Can l use one of the newer compatable USB Saturn controllers with SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics.

You can still use every controller you want the problem comes that if yourt controller is identified as an Xbox/XInput controller you will lose the option to customize the input and will be given to choose between layouts. This happens fore example if yopu are using a Fightpad like the Hori Fighting Commander or Madcatz but not with Hyperkin GEN6.

l have no idea what you are saying as l do not play fighting or flying games.
l already have a 6 button gamepad that l can enter all the details exept Mode as l do not have a spare button to allocate. l thought a Saturn controller would work as l could use the right hand trigger button for Mode. Would this be possible and would it work with SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics games.

Are you sure? It seems like only actual Xbox controllers are recognised in room mode since the update. My XInput Hori stick no longer works.

I use a ZD-V+ controller with it that has xinput. I have seen others complaining their controllers no longer work. A tempory fix would be to use steam big picture mode to bind keys to a controller.
