But I wouldn't be against them fixing the sound bug that you could hear in some games (Like Sonic 1's goalpost sound being different)
Could be great If they fix that, it's something that future owners of this compilation will apreciate it. And also for SEGA's reputation, they don't deserve something like this. Fingers crossed.
That compilation is still a great thing overal (especially since there's the workshop)
Indeed they need help from M2 (they are gods doing their job with the ports of old games and systems). We don't have to lose our faith about it. D3T is still in time to fix it. Let's pray.
Sorry, but this emulator is nothing good at all. Its not just input lag and bad sound emulation, games also suffering from weird random slowdown/frameskipping issue, even in slow paced titles like Phatasy Star 4.
As for Phantasy Star IV the game itself is advanced for the console (being a late-life release)
Its not a normal console slowdown if you mean it and its not happening in any other emulators of Mega Drive, just in this one. I see stable 60 frames on fps counter but game clearly stuttering/runs choppy in random times, i don't know if its caching this rewind feature or connects to leaderboards, but its doing it all the time.
If it's any consolation for the OP, if you prefer other emulators, you can use them with the ROMs you bought on Steam.
To notice it - simply launch The Revenge of Shinobi and try to do double jump, first in this emulator and after in normal one like Genesis Plus GX.
