Next step for Sega

So has we all know Sonic Mania is a success and all that Sega needed to do was to give a " yes" to a project of team of people that like us are fans of the character and knew what we wanted from the start.
Like Christian and some of his team members that, before Sonic Mania, worked on Sonic fan games there are other teams that have done the same to another Sega classic franchises that we really want to see revitalized. Bomber Games, to be precise, worked for 8 years in a Streets of Rage Remake that after done got shutdown by Sega in 2011.
Do you guys think that are any possibilities of Sega in the future ,and after the big success of Sonic Mania, a game that maked everyone talk and love Sonic again, will embrace other teams of fans to bring back classics like Streets of Rage , Golden Axe, Alex Kidd, Shinobi etc...

streets of rage needs multiplayer to be successful. i'm sure that most of us can agree here.

if sega made singleplayer so overprotected (steam + denuvo), what would their multiplayer game be like? steam + denuvo + registration on sega site?
