do the devs have the legal rights to publish this on steam?

i don't really care about the game,have fun making i guess but what i do care about is,will the game respect the original creator of sprunki especially after everything they went trough? since this is a whole steam game and all..so even the smallest credit matters so much...

I feel a lot of people have been waiting for SRoH to be actually released... It says that it'll be released by 2026, yet no signs of such happening to be seen in the past few months... what a shame.... Please release the game.
