The latest Forgotten Eras patch brings key improvements to immersion, clarity, and accessibility across the demo experience:

We’ve re-balanced and enhanced several dialogue and ambient layers to better reflect the emotional and mythic tone of each encounter:

• Morana’s voice now carries with greater presence during her ethereal exchanges with Ivan across the Castle and Graveyard scenes.

• Domovoy’s lines in the pre-boss confrontation are clearer and more resonant — closer to the protective spirit you were meant to hear.

• Ivan’s internal thoughts are now more distinct, helping players follow his reflection and connection with the land’s spirits.

These adjustments bring the game’s sound design closer to its Slavic roots — inspired by instruments such as the gusli and duduk, with each tone echoing the mysticism of the forest and the sorrow of forgotten heroes.

To make the world more inclusive and true to its mythic reach, we’ve expanded full dialogue and thought translations to six new languages:

Each translation was carefully adapted to preserve the rhythm and symbolism of the original Slavic folklore lines.

We’ve refined input and world logic to improve exploration and comfort:

• Enhanced gamepad navigation in menus and UI.

• Fixed off-axis hazards and out-of-bounds areas, ensuring Ivan’s path aligns naturally with terrain flow.

• Adjusted collision precision for a smoother experience during traversal and combat.

Together, these changes ensure the journey through the cursed forest — and beyond — feels more fluid, more natural, and more alive.

Thanks to the amazing support from our community, the Steam Page for Forgotten Eras is now localized in Russian and Greek!
