I got to this bit, it said I'd summoned them, there's some kind of goblin chained to a ball that attacks me, I've no weapon to fight back with. Was this tested?

Very early in the tutorial, when the two cultists appear and stop you, I get stuck. After restarting I was able to get to a place where I was able to complete both of their trials, but after doing so I still could not progress at all. The cultists themselves continued to say the same things, too....
