Stop Posting about Mech Warrior 5 on Mech Warrior Online

It makes it hard for people looking at the forum for this game to find anything actually worth readiing and replying too. Also Can't say how many post i've reported for being on the wrong forum.

PGI is happy for MW5 players to post on MWO forum....get's the hype last longer and it's cheap as they don't need a second community manager
anyway it makes the MWO forums feel more alive

I rarely use Reddit and don't actually have an account there yet, (read: I didn't even think of that) but you make a fair point.

1st this isn't the offiical MWO Forum, its Steams MWO Forum. The offical one had different boards ect.... or used to haven't been there in a while.

2nd People Might just Might want to look at a MWO forum for a game callled MWO and not MW5. How about you post MW5 on its borad or forum. Idk kinda makes sense esp considering steam lack of search features.

3rd Believe it or not but there are players out there who have played MWO for a long long time, who couldn't care less about MW5. Also MWO playerbase isn't exactly at its peak. New Players given the easy of access to the game with steam, might be looking her for info on MWO thats directly linked to MWO and Not MW5 instead of MW5. Call me Crazy just seems like a logical good bet.

Since MWO needs new players, and trust me it always does it is what will keep the game and servers alive. Wouldn't it be nice to see the easiest and first place they come to with questions about the game easy to find and answer so they have a sliightly better chance at sticking around. Where as when the forum for MWO is filled up with MW5 dumb stuff, those post could in fact go un-noticed.

Im sorry im being a ♥♥♥♥, but Ik that in helping new players helps keep MWO up and running a little longer and I kinda love this game. Its not all it could of been, but thats ok, its my hope to keep defending it and keeping it up till a massive revamp happens adding in new graphics, actual melee weapons ect... He'll I'd like to see a few of the lore none mech units in our games. Granted they'd be weak but like the Urby could be fun for a few matches.

Since PGI has neglected to allow for an "official" forum, people will naturally spread to "similar but not the same" places to vent/discuss the game.

This is a side effect of PGI going with Epic Exclusivity. (And no, Reddit is not a replacement.) I'd like MWO forums to be for MWO, but PGI as expected, screwed it up.

I feel half of the people here just comment to flame PGI in a convoluted way. Same goes on MWO forums.
If you guys hate and despise PGI so much, why are you here? Why don't you do something better with your time, something constructive? Maybe play a different game from a different developer?
