Flashlight grip changed in DLC yes or no?

Newest DLC I've read there are some dark areas. The flashlight reverse grip is a deal breaker for me. BRUTAL to navigate with the thumbpad, BRUTAL to hold for long periods of time. Hard on the wrist and arm. Who the hell holds a flashlight like that IRL? Nobody. Hold it hip style with thumb towards light, not towards bottom. Is this fixed? Ill buy the DLC if so. If not, no buy.

nope, its still like that, although i found it quite cool, and after a little bit of geting used to, thumb navigation was no problem. there is a gun with attached flashlight, that points where you aim. i guess its not available in the first dark area, but after that you could just keep the flashlight gun...

Damn this is unfortunately a deal breaker for me. Cant believe they dont offer grip change on it and make the default a reverse grip hold. The thumb trackpad I can get used to, but the krink in my wrist is unacceptable, so what I do is hold the controller upside down and backwards, so that it's normal gripped in my hands. But then all of the touchpad movement is mirrored and reversed, which is tricky.

This dlc is not as dark, plus the only flashlights i saw and used were the ones integrated into the pistol.

So far, that's what I've found. Haven't seen any actual flashlights yet.

You can change how you hold the Flashlight in the normal game by pressing the 'eject magazine' button, makes it so that you hold it like a normal person. I'm surprised not more people know this

Really? Im surprised I didnt try this lol. Good to know! Because I was recently replaying through the original, and then when I came upon the flashlight issue I rage-quit vowing to never play again unless they fixed it hahaha.

They attach a flashlight to your pistol in the DLC, so you never actually have a flashlight anyway.

thats the way americans seem to hold their flashlights/torches compared to europeans .. just look at a few american movies or shows .. especially the police ones..
