How to hold the flashlight so it's not upside down?
I've got a Vive. When I pick up the flashlight from my belt, the light is facing backward. I have a choice, either hold the controller upside down so it faces forward or hold it in my hand with my elbow flexed and pointing it up by my head. I don't like holding it up like that and I don't like holding it upside down because if I want to dual wield guns I have to awkwardly flip it around otherwise I'll be shooting backward!

Is there a way to flip the flashlight in the VR so it is facing forward when I hold it out at chest level, straight out like most people hold it in real life?

It seems like at one time when I was playing that I somehow managed to flip the flashlight around in the VR the way I want it. I'm not sure how I did it.

Top button left hand.....or was it left or rigjt on the disc?.....i forget but yeah you can spin it around

you could hold your forearm across in front of you and hold your other arm over it like they do in movies and tv

Ok, ill try that. What happened is that I must have hit one of those buttons before and that is how it flipped. I didnt realize how I did it. Ill try different variations on the buttons to see what works. A bit frustrating that it isnt pointing forward by default!

You push the track disc to the right or left, cant remember which direction it is. It is nice though, flips the flashlight around so your are pointing it forward. You can see it as it flips around.

lol i can tell you dont know how to shoot in real life, or you'd be using the flashlight that way. but what do i know, im just in the military :steamhappy:
