Stuck in mine where you pull handle out of Fred...
I'm stuck in mine where you pull handle out of the guy lying dead on a barrel. I have two automatic weapons and the shot gun. However I always run out of ammo! There's hardly any ammo around for the automatics (uzi and whatever the other one is) and I have 300 rounds of ammo for a handgun I don't have and I can't find another type of run on the level anywhere. Is there anyway to jump back a level or somehow find a handgun?

Thanks
Nick

If you can, backtrack to where you pick up the flashlight and find the two revolvers in a display case that use pistol ammo. In the future try to carry different weapon types so that you use all the ammo that you carry. Good luck.

Before the first fence you use a key for, you can pick up 2 revolvers from the glass case, and an automatic glock next to the skeleton/dead body on the table. These use handgun ammo.

After the fence, you encounter the shotgun in the corridor you enter by blowing up the wall, and the micro-uzi on the table next to the winch.

If you die, it is *not* possible to go back to past that very first fence to pick up handgun-type weapons, since it opens on the other side. (something I will notify the team of.)

I'm stuck here too but only because I'm not quick enough on the reload. If you exit out and start again but choose easy and you die will the game reload in Easy? or whatever you started with originally? Normally I choose normal.

It is possible to reload and continue with an easier difficulty; those two waves at the end should be doable if you get your headshots in.

Hope this helps, if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask!

When you press new game then you should be able to choose the finished chapters.

Thats such a stupid suggestion. You cannot backtrack to get the revolvers.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I love LOVE this game :)

Unless I read this post incorrectly, this part is in the original game and not in the 2 DLCs.

If I'm correct about that, then what I did was first back up against a wall (So I don't get the Freds coming from all sides) and start with the shot-gun until I ran out of ammo and then hand-guns after that.
I think I also shot a barrel that exploded... but maybe I remember that wrong (It's several years ago I played this part. It was when it first released actually)

I suck BIG-TIME at all the 'horde-events', but this one I actually managed to survive :)
(If I can do this one, then even bad players can, lol)
(In fact I hate the horde-modes. They're too tough for me and I have yet to complete the 'dead man' DLC (I'm stuck at the part after the 'chemical fog' bit. I can get up to the road outside the main gates of the base, but I die at that horde part every time. So currently I've given up on it). I love everything else about Arizona Sunshine though)

Good luck! :)

And just to restate: this is the best computer-game I have EVER played :)
(I actually scratched a computer-monitor because I got so shocked the very first time I encountered a 'runner' and turned as fast as I could to shoot him, resulting in me hitting the monitor hard with the Vive hand-controller. I nearly fell too, which would have probably resulted in me ripping my TV and computer down to the floor had I not managed to remain standing :) It's a dangerous game :) )

Back up against a wall. Specifically, look to the rear - you'll see 2 barrels. Move directly behind them. Then the AI pathing will force Freds to come around to the right only. Good spot to defend.

What about Boneworks? Contagion VR Outbreak? My biggest problem is VR games dont save your game often enough or at all.

Sorry, I have not tried those yet so I don't know how they compare.

Sorry again I dont know what I was talking about - unless its the save system which does work well in Arizona Sunshine. I'm a bit miffed about other VR games that dont save often.

Thanks Vertigo! In the end I managed to backtrack far enough to find where I must have swapped my revolver for a second automatic weapon, then was able to make the long walk back to Fred's handle and kill the hoard using mainly revolver head-shots. Game completed and I really hope you make a sequel :)
