Aiming is way off
Is there any way to calibrate the aim for the user because even when I'm looking down the iron sights it is still off. I have to compensate for every shot and it's really really annoying!

Mine is normal, for the record.
It works perfectly fine for me. Have you ever shot a real gun?

I'm ex-military and that's why I noticed. It's not like shooting a real gun.

You have to aim for the neck to hit them in the head. Never fired a real gun, but this seems odd.
it seems to be off if you use your left eye. at least it is for me.

Yep, this is how I feel as well. The aim is way off. Everyone I have played with has agrteed so far. I'm glad I waasn't weith that marine...

Only played with the pistols so far but I'd have to agree, something isnt right. It might not be that its off as such (although the teeny, tiny sights make it hard to see even on 2.0x screen scale!) but just that the gun tilt is at an unnatural angle relative to the hand plus the difficult to see sights make it feel like its off.

The guns themselves feel pretty small compared to games (e.g. H3VR, Onward, etc.) which only accumulates the feeling of inaccuracy as aiming is harder when the sights are sub-pixel in size. In a game like H3VR I can easily hit a smaller target than a zombie significantly further away than the average Arizona Sunshine combat distance with any pistol available and each has it's own minor quirks, sights and grip alignment to compensate for. I don't recall having so much difficulty in any other recent shooting VR game either to be honest.

There's been a tonne of discussion on this over the past 9 months for various Vive-based shooting games, I'm disappointed that such a core element is an issue in a game that took the extra time to polish things up. It's a shame as the game seems really great so far, so having this core element fighting you at every step only ruins the experience. I'm probably going to shelve it for now in the hopes that a patch appears in the next week or so, it feels like a quick fix to adjust the weapon scales and alignments.

As a side note, I havent tested but is there some sort of spread on the guns? It felt a little like there was but perhaps my hands were just unsteady tonight and I was overcompensating from the misses. :)

I work for a place that i cant tell you, otherwise i'd have to kill you (ahhh joking) and aiming seems fine here... have you tried to re-calibrate in the options.
MIne was off as well almost felt like it was shooting left im not sure but there is something askew. let alone the nearly impossible front iron sight.

For those having difficulty its possible you could be cross-eye dominant

My issue is that because of resolution its difficult to appreciate the front site which is crucial to being able to actually hit what the hell you're aiming at
It feels off to me too, and I shoot about once a week. Still fun as hell.
well im an australian top class presidential covert guard and i think its off aswell
