I cannot even start the first stage because the plane seems to not be accelerating enough to achieve take off from the runway and I crash into the bridge at the end of the runway every time. Since I can't get airborne, it seems I also cannot shoot, so there's no way to clear the path either. I've read the instructions which sound simple (accelerate until the plane takes off and you can shoot). It seems the game is broken, but I think surely there is something I'm missing. What could I be doing wrong?...
