New Elements: Fire & Water
Two new elemental affinities have entered the battlefield! Fire brings aggressive plays and explosive tempo, while Water offers fluid repositioning and clever control.
Many older Neutral cards have been reassigned to better match these elemental identities — expect familiar faces with refined roles.

New Keywords

• Combo – Play cards in succession and hit combo thresholds for bonus effects.

• Rush – Can attack other units when played.

• Vulnerable – A new debuff that makes the card take bonus damage.

• On Move – Effects that trigger when repositioning.

Elemental Counters

• Water Counters allow bonus movement — spend 1 counter for each extra zone moved.

• Fire Counters deal 1 non-combat damage per counter on a stack at the start of its turn.

World Map & Practice Mode

• New nodes added: Karghan Stadium (Practice Mode) and Nexus of Creation (Challenges coming soon).

⚙️ Tweaks & Improvements

Adventure Map Improvements

• Map now pans automatically on Round 1 and auto locates on your current position in later rounds.

Combat Keyword Rework

• We’ve removed Ambush, First Strike, and Duelist. These priority abilities made board presence too overwhelming and reduced comeback potential.

• Ranged has been reworked to simplify its role — it now blocks Flying units and deals bonus damage when doing so. This helps balance its impact whether you're ahead or behind on the board.

Card Identity & Behavior Updates

• Items and enchantments now correctly apply effects to the top of a card stack.

• Stat boosts and keywords now target the correct unit in a stack.

• Numerous Neutral cards have been reworked or reassigned.

Balance Changes

• Most cards have been reviewed and rebalanced to account for the new elements and gameplay changes.

Interface & Usability

• Updated card inspector logic for better keyword visibility.

• Main menu now asks for confirmation before exiting.

• Older saves are now checked and reset for compatibility.

🐞 Bug Fixes

• Fixed hover box issues on hand cards.

• Fixed various issues with “When Played” triggers on items/enchantments.

• Fixed alternate art cards appearing at the merchant.

• Fixed various text and keyword display bugs.

• Backend fixes for damage resolution and death triggers.

• New Events!
  A variety of new events have been added, each featuring custom backgrounds, characters, and dialogue with impactful choices. Events adapt based on your current run progress for a dynamic experience every time.

• New AI Decks
  Enemy decks for Plants, Healing Beasts, Angels, and Knights have been added to keep the challenge fresh.

• Card Collection Updates
  Cards bought from the merchant now get added to your collection.

• Audio
  Rest nodes now have audio feedback.

• Card Adjustments

  • Terracotta Rex, Gaihydra updated

  • Siliskar has returned

  • Some light cards have been slightly nerfed

  • Commanders with Ranged were a bit strong, especially on the Wizard who could boost itself. We have removed Ranged on some Neutral commanders in accordance.

• AI Deck Balancing
  Older enemy decks received some fine-tuning for improved variety and balance.
