Regarding the password.. (Ending Spoilers)

So, as soon as I saw the password was 3 digits long, I immediately guessed 666 and was proven correct. I laughed pretty hard when I saw that, considering how beating-you-over-the-head obvious it was.

To the point, what happens if you put the wrong password in? And are there alternative passwords aside from the one mentioned above that have different outcomes? I'm kind of curious now.

He will be shot by soldiers and then blow up C4 charges if you'll input incorrect code. Same result.

Welp OP, I happened to be replaying the game on a harder difficulty and was on that level when I saw this post. For you I typed in 777, and it said "login denied" and the military came in the room and shot me like they normally would. The Antagonists says "I wonder if those C4 will work," and then it shows the nuclear explosion and he says "Well, I guess they did...." So I guess the whole 666 was an easter egg/nod to the type of people who like this game (me).
