[SPOILER]If Notim Portant is the antagonist...
...then I presume that the IT worker at the last stage must be the protagonist of the game, he has charisma, he stalled Notim Portant and didn't gave him the password to overload the reactors, he got murdered to save NY, then the soldiers came and killed Notim Portant.

About the explosion, that might be an "illusion" of something he wished that would happen which got created by his dying mind after getting shot that way, he even narrates the explosion with a "yea, it worked".

Well, dead people don't have thoughts and nuclear power plants don't blow up like an atomic bomb, then I presume that the ending was a lie created by Notim Portant's mind and the IT worker was the hero of the game.

what if the entire game was just a figure of notim portant's mind? what if he was just a tortured soul living in a mental asylum after killing his parents for constant abuse and the entire game is what he would do if he was never caught or covered up the evidence better then he did? I mean he is a tortured a soul, the only thing we dont know is...why? what happened to make him that way?

Maybe this was why DC made this game, to give us all a reason to think about a game. invent our own ending or invent our own story within a "story." pretty brilliant on DC's part if you ask me.

the story is told from Not Important's point of view, that makes him the portagonist even though he's clearly the bad guy in the story.

This is hilarious!

Could also be said of the mayor in the city level. He gives his anti-violence/anti-gun speech and talks about a madman on the loose killing people. (Effing long speech if you take the time to listen to it. Nice detail.)

He would have just pressed the button and blown it up anyways, he even says he's planting the charges as a back up and the plant blows up as soon as he presses the button so it would have worked
