Not Important's backstory.

So I've been thinking for awhile, what caused Not Important to want to start killing people all of a sudden? Has anyone thought of a potential backstory for him? One of the best ones I could come up with would be that it'd involve his parents abusing him, considering they literally named him, "Not Important" they obviously didn't care about him that much. What do you guys think?

My theory is he started with a normal life, he was a silent person, really antisocial who didn't want to make friends and didn't want to find what makes him happy (or nothing did it), he knew that beeing with pleople was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for him, he hated people generally so he just got tired to live with them (because there was no way to finish with all of them) everyday and he decided to end that.

Let's cover some of the things we do know about him. And see what inferences we can make based on that.
1. He lived until adulthood, so what he did until the moment he started killing everyone is ambiguous.
2. His parents may have been abusive, considering they gave him the name "Not Important" as if he didn't matter to them.
3. He may be either a psychopath or a sociopath. Hints of him being a sociopath include the possibility of his parents being abusive, as well as his manner of destruction, he goes around destroying everyone without any real plan or thought, whereas a psychopath usually plans out every detail if they're going to kill someone. Evidence of him being a psychopath would be how he's clearly aware that what he's doing is wrong, but shows no regard to it.
4. He appears to live on his own, which may imply that he was gainfully employed at some point.

Some things that are open for debate.
1. What kind of education and job experience does he have, if any?
2. If he's willing to commit genocide, why has he waited to this point? Has he been collecting weapons and ammo all his life?

Well all he started out with was 6 mags worth for his AK, 3 grenades and a knife, you could probably acquire all of those in less time than, er, 10 years.

Those are good points. I think he worked low-end jobs, in some warehouse or something where he didn't have to interact with people much. He was probably asocial/antisocial since childhood, so I don't think he had a romantic relationship. Not Important noticed what ♥♥♥♥ is going on everywhere, and it was piling up to the point that he became so misanthropic he didn't care about people's lives anymore, so he decided to kill them.

Interesting. While we're at it, does anyone know where one might acquire grenades? He obviously lives in an area that's either, very pro-gun, or, has a strong black market for weaponry. He could have purchased the AK 47 at a gun store, but does anyone know where he could have gotten the grenades? It would seem unlikely that he'd be able to purchase those a gun store considering guns are usually only for self-defense, or for healthy sports like hunting or skeet. I would imagine you'd have to get grenades at a black market of some sorts.

I think that "Not important" was meant as if he doesn't think sharing his name with us is meaningful to the story. Sorry for the necro btw.
