Game glitches and enemies just stop spawning

Alright this is getting pretty annoying now.

I'm playing on the Harbour level and i'm sick and tired of getting this bug. It doesn't matter if it's wave 2,5,8 or 10 there's always a chance that enemies will just stop coming for whtever reason.

Why does this happen? Can it be fixed?

I also had something similar happen to me on the metro level where a enemy spawned on the top of the train as you can see in the screenshot below.

With glitches like that getting to rank 15 is a real pain in the ♥♥♥.

That happened to me a few times. I eventually wandered around for 10 minutes until I restarted the level. I got an achievement out of it though, lol.

I also noticed this only seems to happen after I die.

Then if I die I need to either change the map or restart my PC(sometimes even that won't work).

Haven't tested this on other levels but I think it only occurs on Harbour(at least for me).

And all of that just because I found out a good strategy for this map.
