Remap Xbox 360 Controls?

I bought this game because the Wii version doesn't have online play support anymore. I am also accustomed to the Wii Classic Controller's configuration (this is even more true because I also play the Mario Kart series). How do I remap the Xbox 360 controls? I can only see keyboard settings.

Honestly and I know this sucks, but I would buy the "Rock Candy Xbox controller" from Walmart as I am using it and once you get the controller to work, it does work nicely and it is cheap. But for the controller, I think it is Microsoft "Forcing" an Xbox only controller on a PC and if you still continue to look for a controller, I wish you luck.

Getting a refund. The Wii version was better despite inferior graphics. Thanks for helping.

Believe me, I really didn't wish to get the Xbox controller either and I am annoyed that so many Steam game are forced to either use the Xbox one or none at all. However, the one good grace is that you wouldn't need to remap the controls to play your games as they are auto configged and the controller could be a lot worst and all.

The Xbox controller feels a lot like the SNES controller from long ago, so it was easier on me as I don't give a care at all about the Xbox.

Refund was already granted. I already have the controllers needed to play the game. The controls worked but the problem was changing the control scheme (and I see no online multiplayer as well, further enticing me to seek a refund).
