Game freezes
I have a bit of an issue. The game regularly freezes on the menu screen, on loading screens, and while playing the game. Right in the middle of the game. Several times in fact. Most commonly when a module is solved. But also when it's time for the button press, and as I'm holding down the button, the game freezes, which kinda interrupts the holding down process, and means it's impossible to time the release.

It doesn't last long, but when it's over, it's not like the game just starts again. I have to click once for everything to go back to normal, and when I do that, my desktop flashes very briefly, like I had alt-tabbed to another program, even though I didn't.

I don't know why this is happening, or what's causing it, but I'd like to know, because the game is unplayable like this. Particularly when there's a button.

I just played for the first time tonight and this describes my experience exactly. I ensure all my device drivers are up to date and restarted the computer and verified the local files using the Steam validator. We discovered that we could use Alt-Tab to recover from most freezing, but this is not an efficient way to play and it doesn't work for the Button module.

I found a solution. I forget exactly what I did. I altered the graphics settings. I think I set it to windowed mode.

wow, that would be a super simple fix if that's all it takes. I'll have to give it a try

It helped me to disable/disconnect my controller.

This bug is driving me crazy. I always have to press alt-tab and reconnecting the controller didn't help in my situation.

Did you try windowed mode?

Yes, window mode works. Sucks that there's a huge white bar on top but at least the game works properly now thx for the suggestion!
