Parallel port.
Hey guys! Ok, so i have been playing KTANE for a while, and i got down almost every detail about defusing. But i dont get what a parallel port means. Can somoeone explain me please what it is and how do i know if my bomb has or has not a parallel port?

A parallel port is the long, thin, pink port with two rows of little connection pins. It's shown in Appendix C on the last page of the manual. You can check for this on the outside of the bomb case by rotating the case before you select a module (hold right mouse button + move around). This port was commonly used for printers years ago, but these days basically all printers are USB and/or Wifi. I feel old now. :)

Seeing that topic, I think the base premise of solving "The Mystery of The Parallel Port" was the Expert describing how it looks to the Defuser from the Appendix C, then determining if such a port is present on a bomb currently being played. Too bad either most of the people KNOW what a parallel port looks like, or such information mumbo jumbo would waste too much time (that's why it's skipped). That's a good insight though, because no one knows if the future Manual Version / Bomb updates will need such communication...
