Well just think logically, this is a brand new game on Steam made by an indie team. If they add any new content then the manual will need to be updated or else litterally half of the game is missing.
No what i was thinking about was that they have different sollution to an already existing module.
So for example in vers. 1 of the manual you have to cut the red wire if condition x is met but in ver. 2 you'd have the same condition but it would tell you to cut a different wire.
The manual is already pritty complex but depending on how good your memory is you can learn all the solutions. With different manual versions you can switch between i'd be a lot harder.
But I don't know if you've read the manual? Because if you can memorize all of that, maybe you deserve to win. Because daaaaang.
Also, a lot of people will want to print the manual. So it would be nice if you could force the game to a particular manual version, at least -- that way people wouldn't have to reprint their manuals after updates, if they didn't want to.
Seriously, if you can memorize that manual, quit playing games and go work on your third doctoral thesis already! Neurosurgery ain't gonna perform itself.
Now realize that the manual's 20 pages of this craziness. Anyone who can memorize all of it deserves the ability to play the game solo.
Will we be able to choose which manual to use? That would help a lot with translated manuals.
Well i guess i am just unlucky with my expert, he took multiple IQ tests and the part for memory wasn't meaningfull as in the standard tests to determin your memory score aren't hard enough to give him a real score so he just got the maximum points.
I only glanced at the manual to not spoil my self so i can't tell how hard it really is so we'll see how it turns out when i am the expert since i am a lot better than him at skimming very fast through long texts and creating logical constructs and visualization.
