Does this game get stale? Also mods?

I got this game yesterday - minute of release and all that, I played it with a bunch of friends for about an hour and it was incredible fun. I'm now scared that we might learn the Bomb Manual, which would really spoil the game if we play it too much. Those of you with upwards of 15 hours in game, is this the case? Or would mods be a good way of keeping it fresh? Or is it just so complex that you'd always need your mates guiding you?

The guy who encouraged a lot of people to come play, from Reddit, has said he has close to 50 hours and none of them are remotely close to learning the manual.
