Zero is not an odd number!
On the wire module, there are steps for 4-6 wires for what to do if the serial number is odd. Tonight we had 6 wires, all blue and black and a serial number ending in 0 (zero). The steps for 6 wires are:
  • If there are no yellow wires and the last digit of the serial number is odd, cut
    the third wire.
  • Otherwise, if there is exactly one yellow wire and there is more than one
    white wire, cut the fourth wire.
  • Otherwise, if there are no red wires, cut the last wire.
  • Otherwise, cut the fourth wire.

There were no wires and the serial number was 0 (zero), and since zero is an even number[en.wikipedia.org], we continued. There were no yellow wires, so that's not it. There were no red wires so I cut the last wire, but I got a strike. :spazdunno:

Was the solution actually cutting the third wire? And you're positive there were six total? Cause zero has actually meant even for me every time it's come up...

The third wire was the solution. It was the last module we did because we had a new module to figure out and did it first. Time was running out so when the third wire didn't work we just went with the next step and cut the fourth wire, which didn't work, so we figured the game thought zero was odd and went with the third wire and it disarmed.
