Using Oculus Quest 2 with Steam version?

Please confirm that you can play the Steam version using Oculus Quest 2?

I now that you can play Steam Version with Virtual Desktop on the Oculus 2, I have done it. I actually came here looking for a similar question. Most Quest games can be loaded in to the Quest and then be played offline, but since I own the Steam version and not the Oculus version, is there a way to do that still? Or would I have to buy it a 2nd time to lead it in to the Quest.
