Window border / Background / no transparency?

Hello everybody,

I played this game in windowed more with no background, i didnt use the greenscreen mode.

I kept the game on my second monitor and with windowed mode there was basically no visible window border. with autohiding the UI it was a "floating island"

resizing and moving the island with the corresponding icon was no problem at all.

this is not the case anymore, now i have a unanimated background and the "windowborder" of the game is visible all the time. If i run at fullscreen the background is black and there is no transparency anymore.

I really liked the "floating island" so i was wondering if this was intended.

Thanks for this nice idle game my son loves it to death.

For me this doesn't work. I don't have a compatibility tab when I click on properties, I also don't seem to have a file ending in .exe. Might this be because I am on Windows 11, or am I doing something wrong? I have already deleted and reinstalled the game, this didn't help either.

This issue seems to mainly affect Windows 11, most probably because of Win11 update changing how the system handles transparent windows. The file will be named Ropuka's Idle Island if you don't have the option to display file extensions the .exe may be hidden. It must exist otherwise you wouldn't be able to open the game at all.
