Mutagen Potions can be found in random battles. Then you can remove any trait by using one.
Mutagen Potion drops unlock around 1/3rd of game thus you will need to do a few story missions.
Btw, it’s a bit strange gameplay with maxing heroes before even starting a campaign ^^
Take care, Les
It wasn't really intentional. I was just grinding for gold to repair the windmill/fountain and buy items, to steal potions/items, and farm some xp to evolve a few units. However, I managed to get a ring of the scholar almost immediately, so Kara got skilled up pretty fast.
Ring of Scholar and Study Book are great early.
Battles in campaign are scaled within limits, i.e. early battles will be easier with maxed hero, but later game will catch up.
Certain mechanics are disabled in early game to prevent overwhelming players. Mutagen Potions unlock ~1/3rd of game.
It’s not a perfect system, but works well enough with mixed campaign and procedurally generated missions.
Take care, Les
According to the Mutagen I looted/stole (didn't notice when I got it), regular Traits can only be removed by the passive 'random trait removal' aspect of the potion (Earned being removed via usage in Skills menu).
But it doesn't clarify if the passive removal affects Traits gained during combat, or if it also includes Traits gained from Skills.
Can you please send me your savegame? Email is: ageoffeargame@gmail.com
UGH. Maybe I accidentally equipped it thinking I was equipping another headgear. Maybe the Stupidity Trait was me irl all along.
I should go throw myself to the Sandworm to atone for this.
LOL, no need to be so drastic.
But why Head Bag...? That's joke item :)
I am glad it's resolved. Thanks!
🤣🤣🤣 poor Kara…
Btw, do you know which movie Head Bag is from?
If I try to think of anything else, all my brain can muster is Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
