Demo and Game difference?

Im wondering on getting the full game but i dont know what the difference is between them, is it just a story mode?

well respectfully, the demo is a slice of the game, not a segregated mode. you get more than just "story mode" from the full release.

its still early acess, you get 4 story missions with 4 cool bosses, more challenges and songs for free play, and a skill tree to unlock moves and special abilities you earn from beating bosses for even more stylish combos and utility.

Edit: and a hub area which is a nice break area between the action. not a lot to do there currently other than decorate but its still nice visually.
