It will, even on medium end PCs. FF XIII had awesome graphics (and still has today) and if you consider the "not so good" port ofc it wont always stay or even reach 60 fps.
But the graphical difference between 13 and Type-0 is quiet big. So you can prepare youselves for some 50-60 pfs if you are not playing on a 80$ potato with VGA output ;)

It won't. Several posts have quoted that the game is capped to 30fps due to game mechanics relying on framerate. They can't increase the framerate without rewriting half the game, which they're not going to do.

It's still speculation btw. I was one of them who said it. But that was based on Type 0 being ported from the psp and many psp ports I know run at 30fps.

Square may pull some magic and rewrite the engine for all we know but that's speculation as well.

Thats funny. Square actaully giveing a ♥♥♥♥ and rewriteing the engine. This is all about the money for them they whould never spend money to dedeticate work hours to that.

It's a PSP game. It would be a miracle if they got the engine working at 60 fps.

Be happy it's an HD port with PC resolution support and motion blur sliders.
