PSA: If your audio is out of sync in the cutscenes change your refresh rate

If you have a 120 hz monitor and run your desktop at 120hz, then the audio in the cutscenes will be out of sync, and curiously the FPS counter will sit at 60. Setting it to 60 hz will fix the audio, and the FPS counter will show 30.

I have a 144hz monitor. You're saying I have to change my refresh rate to 60? I really don't like that and it kinda sucks that I have to but if it fixes the problem I don't mind. Maybe I'll just play it on my second monitor which is 60hz.

or if on nvidia just use nvidia inspector (a 3rd party tool) to cap game to 30 fps and keep your 144hz setting

My refresh rate already was 60, but sound in cutscenes is still laggy ._." rips my ears apart. But just fine in gameplay tho.

could someone give me a hand fixing the audio / lip sync issue

ok so heres what happened,,
when i first entered class zero and saw teach whoop nines ass ^.^
and when mechina and rem joined the class i noticed that the audio.. looked? a little out of sync,
the voices would stop before the lips movement

now sure i know that not EVERY game can be perfect lol..
but if theres a way to fix this could ya'll give us a hand please :)

not sure if it matters or not but the games FPS is on a solid 30, even during heavyload (or least what heavyload i've had up to now)

pretty sure my pc should be able to handle Type 0 at the highest settings it can go

---in game options / splash popup settings---
got shadows set to detailed, anti-aliasing to high, textures to normal
((thought the game was a HD remake of the original :S ?.... i only have low-res and normal))

motion blur to weak (as i personally dont like it,,, it makes me feel woozy lol)
screen space shadows, local reflection, depth of field, and lens flare on,

---PC Hardware--
Pc hardware is a i5 4460, 12gb ram, nvidia asus gtx970 strix, windows 8.1........
(if it matters, nothing is overclocked,, as i actually prefer to get the full life out of my parts,,, that and i cant afford to keep replacing burnt out parts lol)

---Monitor Settings---
as far as i can tell its a 60 hertz monitor, fairly new to.... thanks to my old monitor not working on the gpu

as i said im getting a solid 30-32 fps at all times (up to now)
the out of sync issue doesn't really bother me THAT much as its barely noticeable,
unless REALLY paying close attention to their lips as they stop talking

was doing a test to see just how much behide it was using rems first convo about how awesome class zero was lol

its like a.... 0.01 second delay<shugs>
its next to unnoticeable

but regardless if it unsyncs, ill use / try to use the profile :)
its always good to have it just incase :)

still kinda shocked when i found out that wounded dragon you pass is bahamut :O
hes my fav summon :P, to see him totally ass whooped like that sucked :<

Your profile does not work for me, nor does trying it myself. However going into the control panel and swapping from 144 to 60 worked for me.
