Does FF Type 0 HD get better later on in the game?

I pre ordered FF Type 0 expecting it to be great, but so far i played for about 20 mins (not counting cutscenes) and it doesnt seem to be that good. The Graphics arnt great, their are too many loading screens and fighting is too easy. Does the story, game and fighting get harder. Also can i free roam?

I played the PSP version through an emulator from beginning to end, and the story is awful, like any other FF from the "Fabula Crystalis" universe. But combat is fun.

Despite having more deaths, blood and everything, I'd say the story isn't quite adult-oriented (in terms of actually being more interesting for adults).
Just like some bands have their CDs branded with the Patental Advisory Explicit Content label but their target audience is more focused on teenagers.

i found the story to be pretty emotionally moving by the time I finished it. if you beat it a second time you get the full ending.

Like every FF - this one has "2+ walkthrough" potential. To unlock ALL content you must clear game at least 2 times. And on 3rd you should grind like crazy bietch to beat hidden bosses.

If you want to become invincible, you need to finish the game 14 times so each character gets their own Proof of Agito. Completing the tower will only give you one accessory per playthrough.

20 minutes is nothing in the world of jrpgs. If you can't push through the first couple hours in any jrpg (they are almost always slow like this) try a different genre.

For anyone who's interested in using a memory editor, here's the essential stuff:

>Gil
>SPP (to trade for special rewards in the Akademeia, such as pretty strong weapons)
>Phantoma, specially the white ones (for making your magic stronger)
>Stat Enhancers (ATK Enhancer, Fire Enhancer) *Stats cap is 255 for everything but HP and MP, which are 99999 and 9999 respectively
>Anima Lantern (so you can have infinite auto-revive)
>Gold / Silver Hourglass (to extend your time for optional events)

Enjoy your 9999DMG and cheat away! Single Player is fair game, after all.

These kind of games are meant to be pretty long and you gave it 20 minutes? Maybe I'm just old school but so far I loved it and I can't wait to see how the combat unfolds. I really don't mind the graphics or the FPS. Maybe you don't have the patience.
