What are you talking about ? this game has no anti-cheat far as i am aware of
That trainer only has 3 things and simple ones that don't tweak too much with the game's memory/files. More advanced trainers also have infinite action gauges, mega exp, infinite SPP, 1-hit kills, max stats, infinite gil, etc. and activating multiple instances of those at a time can cause crashes/memory access violations that will force shut down the game.
If you are doing a more advanced cheating and modding to the point of adding new items directly to the game or modding quests, clocks, completions, etc., you'll run into problems with memory access violations which will kick you out of the game or cause it to crash since those require specific access that are actually protected. That's why you need something that will temporary disable those "hack" checks so you can mod the game as you desire. If you are good with hex editing and binary, you can pretty much do everything in the game to the point of replacing character models with guests characters, mod costumes (transparent skirts ftw), allow Rem and Machina to be playable for the entire game, etc.
By merely increasing your SPP to 150k and completing a mission you'll unlock Ultima and SP Crystal. Put these in your character and you will be able to spam 1hit-kill screen-clearing nukes.
Altering too many values (or freezing them, such as HP/MP) can cause games to crash.
Grinding is another story, though. You'd have to mess with all characters' EXP amount to make them instantly reach lv.99
Its not like they did it on purpose just for this version, all versions have it.
Honestly , the fact that people spend hours and hours afk farming should be more than enough reason to use a trainer to skip it.
Exactly, why AFK farm when you can skip the leveling process or make it go faster with a trainer?Installing and setting the trainer, bypassing hack checks, being cautious with your saves by making separate files is a ton faster and saves electricity/battery life than leaving your computer on for 20+ hours on a nonstop spawn map and AFK leveling.
Trainers are advantageous this way and the fact that this is a single player game should not bother anyone at all.
Music is also licensed and copyrighted, but if I hate the intro of a song and I want to cut it out for personal use, I can cut it out despise the fact thats its copyrighted by UNiversal/sony or whatever.
its a single player game you should be able to cheat to your hearts content.
