Performance Issue
I've been experiencing lag ever since I've started the game. I tried on low specs but it still lagged.

Current laptop specs
Nvidia GeForce 950
Intel core i7
64-bit operating system

Turn AA off. Set everything to *Application Controlled* in your graphic card's control panel. Use High performance power profile, disable ALL power saving features. Use 30 fps frame limiter. Update everything, yeah even Visual C++ redistributable and Directx Redistributable packages. If it doesn't work, you're screwed lol.

I had choppy gameplay, but turning off AA and the four tick box settings (DoF, reflections, SSAO and the other one) resulted in totally smooth framerate, no dips at all and I have GTX 460, well below the min. req.

I got the game to run smooth on my GTX 600 by just playing the game with the normal settings. Needless to say, the game ran very slow when I had any of the graphic settings turned up (even in windowed mode).

Well he already told us he was using low specs, that probably means setting everything to off or lowest. Most taxing setting being in-game AA. If this is the only game that runs badly it's probably a combination of driver and O.S. configuration since he meets the requirements.

if none of the settings works try going to launch options on the game and typing -freq 60 -high
if you have 120hz monitor replace 60 with 120

How did you get it fixed if I may ask?

Disabling power saving features is really bad advice...

Maybe for some mediocre laptops.

Are you using battery power on your laptop ? If not, why should you limit your GPU. Power saving works by limiting the clock of your GPU such that it uses less power.

I did this:

Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Look for final fantasy type-0 launcher > Select High - performance NVIDIA processor as my preferred graphic processor > Anti-aliasing mode changed to override any application > set lower AA in graphics setting

In other words, you weren't using the nvidia gpu to begin with.
