Basically, turn off AA completely in the Launcher. It will make you launch the game once to save the setting, then just exit out.
Right click desktop and go to NVIDIA Control Panel --> Manage 3D Settings --> Click the 'Program Settings' tab on the right --> Click "Add" --> Find Type 0 in the list if it's there, if not, hit "Browse" and locate the .exe from wherever your steam library is (steamapps/common).
Once it's added, find the setting "Antialising Mode". Click the drop-down and select "Override any application setting".
From there you should be able to set your AA and Supersampling ("Antialising Setting" [for AA] and "Antialising Transparency" [for Supersampling if you want it]) Hit apply and boot up the game.
Does this help at all? What GPU do you have?
Yeah I'd read that, I have it turned off in the game launcher completely and set to override in Nvidia control panel.
I have a GTX970, with the new driver, what driver are you using?
Thanks for getting back to me.
PS: Have tried Nvidia Inspector too.
I'm on ver. 353.62, but I'm running a 560 ti (wanna trade? :D)
So I take it you got it working? If it's set to override, you should be good to go. Unless it's not letting you choose what type of AA you want under the "Antialiasing - Setting" option?
Maybe you have registry issues if it didn't work for you. Did you actually add the game profile in your control panel? Sometimes you need to point it to the right game executable file for it to work as it should. I remember Starcraft II having 2 of them, but only one of them worked. There is also a bug in some games where forcing works only if you Override through your Global Settings.
If all else fails try flagging through Nvidia Inspector.
This is what my control panel looks like right now after some experimentation . Now sure how different the layout is for the 970 but does this help at all?
Are the Antialiasing settings greyed out completely?
Feel free to add me if you need more help.
Just tried rolling back driver and still doesn't work! Weird...
Have tried Nvidia Inspector and Global settings too...
I have the Type-0 exe added to Nvidia Control Panel, should I have the launcher as well?
God knows why it's not working then haha.
I'm not sure. What do you mean exactly by "not working"? is the option greyed out?
Go ahead and add me if you're still having trouble, and we can try to figure it out when I get back to my PC.
Download latest Geforce Display drivers and Display Driver Uninstaller and try this:
1.- Uninstall Everything NVIDIA related from Programs and Features
2.- Reboot as necessary
3.- Boot into Safe Mode
4.- Disable your internet
5.- Use Display Driver Uninstaller from Wagnard Tools 6.- While in Display Driver Uninstaller, check remove everything in Options and then Click on the *Clean and restart* Button.
7.- Install Geforce Drivers, but ONLY install Display Driver and Physx Software, uncheck everything else. Also check Clean Install.
8.- Reboot.
Might have to try this as I've just discovered it's not just Type-0 but Anti Aliasing isn't working in any of my games!
Thanks will do!
