Use the light strike to clear the darkness core

But how do I use the light strike to clear the the core? I have the light shard, but when I equipped it and used it, nothing happened. How do I use the "light strike" on the darkness core?

Yeah, this was really unclear as you use the "vacuum cleaner" effect right away, but nothing tells you about the secondary ability. I ended up figuring it out later on by accident when i was clearing out a different spot and thought " damn this thing has a sniper mode?" then the sky explodes and annialates the little bug..

Lost all of my crystals. Mission incomplete. I really don't want to gather those resources again.

If you hit tab to open the inventory you'll see tabs at the top one of which is labelled help.

It pretty much just contains the tutorial messages and popups.

This is how I found out how to use the light strike. I assume the popup came up as I was running for my life from exploding spiders. Honestly chalked the word "strike" up as a typo, and I thought I was supposed to use the light shard.

Got my ass kicked there for a bit. The range of the strike is adequate and much further than the guns normal attack.

the quest doesnt even tell u to take the light crystal with u to bardwell 3... been there 3 times now and keep forgetting the damn crystal hahahaha and yea it doesnt tell u ♥♥♥♥ when there either... i kept trying to walk inside the dome and ofc when i died i would remember the crystal... load y save and forget the damn crystal again

Light Strike is left trigger while you have a light shard on controller.

ur going to have to anyways... u need like 50 light crystals + u need warp cells... litterally collect all dark dust as u find it... 90 dust per crystal rememebr (30x3)
