Resident Evil 0 keeps crashing

Im able to get in the game, play for a little bit, either i try to switch to Billy or enter a door my game crashes.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling
I've tried verifying game files

I dont know what else to try.

My computer is not overclocked, my drivers are updated.

I also have the same problem trying to paly Resident Evil 1, As soon as I pick a character to play as (Chris or Jill) my game immediately crashes.

what helped me was turning off full-screen optimization and running program as an administrator, as well as running its compatibility with windows 7
