+1 to add Code Veronica HD to PC

RE: Code Veronica X HD was made available to PS3 (and I believe 360)
Why not bring the love to PC players Capcom?
I for one would buy it in a heartbeat.

Add to that list a remake of RE2 and RE3 and I will be in RE Heaven!

Resident Evil Code Veronica is a legitamate game that was originally supposed to be RE3, but a contract deal with Sony forced them to rename one of their other smaller projects into RE3 (Nemesis) and pretend like Code Veronica was just a spin-off.

AH well. I am glad they remake Code Veronica. It's a way better game than what RE: Survival was. I assume it was different developers? Since, they made the game way better than the Survival editions...

I didn't say it didn't come out for PS2 so I don't see the relevance.

Code Veronica originally launched for the Dreamcast, With a port released later for the PS2 titled Resident Evil : Code Veronica X.

( I know this as I owned both the original on Dreamcast and got the upgraded "X" edition later for the PS2 where some puzzles and item locations were changed, Aswell as some minor visual upgrades )

I had DC1, Which was great, True survival horror using tank controls ala Resident Evil style, But with dinosaurs.

DC2 suddenly went from survival horror to survival action nonsense, I didn't have my DC2 for long.. played maybe 20 minutes of it and sent it back to the store for a refund.

It was a pretty rare XBox exclusive. After that, the series just left.

Yeah the only decent game of that series was undoubtedly the first one, I don't know what happened for DC2 but clearly the gaming generation of the time wasn't ready for that style of game.

The only RE games I never did get to experience was the RE2 remake on the Nintendo64 and the lightgun games ( RE survivor etc )

I had pretty much all of the other versions.

RE1 ( Sega Saturn + PC )
RE1 Directors Cut ( PSX )
RE2 ( PSX + PC )
RE3 ( PSX + PC )

And a few of the ones in between, RE6 / RE Revelations 1+2 / RE7 etc.

I'm hoping RE2 is a success as that'll increase the likelihood 3 will be remastered and so will CV.

RE 2 N64 was a downgrade. Impressive, but still a downgrade. Im curious about the additions to the remake. Its looking great so far.

Games like Megaman Legends had to remove voice acting in the port, but Re 2 somehow fit it all in.
