Leech Hunter unlockables cumulative?

suppose one achieved an A rank in Leech Hunter to unlock the infinite ammo, does this also unlock the goodies that are earned by the B-E ranks, or must they be earned in separate playthroughs?

it unlocks everything. wasnt the case on the cube original but they changed that thankfully.

but only A and S rank matter anyway. infinite magnum revolver is really all you could ever need. zeros magnum revolver is the strongest in the whole classic series by a mile. only barrys magnum from remake is better but is limited to 6 rounds only.

ah. I was kinda hoping it wouldn't be, hehe. Fancied unlocking the magnum revolver without any infinite ammo for anything.

You dont have to play with infinity ammo. Once unlocked, its optional. If you want to play the game without after it was unlocked in Leech Hunter, open the game menue (while in the game), select "options" -> "Bonus" and there you can switch inifinty ammo on and off at will.
Doesnt work for the rocket launcher, though...
