..Where you first time fought the proto-tyrant? (the one that closes near the elevator). I ask this because I realized that I had left my grenade launcher on the other side of the room. I'm now far in the game and I fear I won't be seeing it anymore :(

Hmmm, but you can get back, where the cablecar was, right? Can't you call the platform-elevator again and drive down just as you did previously?

Yeah, just had to backtrack to check it out and proto-tyrant made a window for me to get the grenade launcher :) such a nice guy. Just finished the game and I'm about to start wesker mode. Thanks for the help!

Ha I had the exact same problem, where I ditched my custom handgun to pickup the magnum rounds, only to find the door closed on me -.- I checked out the other levels to no luck and ended up returning to see if I missed a button to raise the door; BAM! Giant hole torn in the bulkhead door, and a weird combination of humor and unease washed over me xD

By the way though (interesting bit of RE trivia) that platform is referred to as a 'turntable' in the series; more of an elevator than a cablecar, which would be the vehicle Rebecca takes from the Lab to the Treatment Plant.

Nah I think the turntable thing is kind of obscure to your average player, isn't it only introduced as such in Outbreak? Either way of course it's totally irrelevant that's why it's funny! Get some sleep xD
