[Puzzle spoilers] If I would've been playing this game long time ago without internet I couldn't beat it...

Animal Puzzle in the basement where you need to rekindle flames in the right order.

Damn, this is the hardest puzzle that I ever seen since Piano Puzzle from the original Silent Hill. I already know how to solve this puzzle but I searched the internet for it and this is cheating. This puzzle doesn't even tells you in which order need to rekindle these flames: from prey to hunter or otherwise. Even if you know the sequence you could do this in the wrong order and that is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t. I didn't even tell you how hard to figure out this sequence.

I'm not saying that this puzzle is bad, this puzzle is really good, except ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t moment, but I cheated on it because of it's difficulty and feels bad for myself. FeelsBadMan.

Anyone has troubles with this puzzle?

Kinda, but by reading the note on the door, you can guess that's it's about weak and strong animals.
Anyway, it's kinda hard, even when you figure it out you have to make it in the right order. I'd say it's the longest of the game, took me 20 25 min

Not really. I played it for the first time back in 2002 on GC... sure it was a 'stop' moment and I had to do some thinking... but you pretty quickly get the pray hunter relationship... after figuring that out... 2 or 3 tries is all it will take if you used to watch Discovery Channel as a kid. lol

Took me 2 tries, since the wording was kinda bad.
It was something like "rekindle the flame of the weak" so I just ignited the candle for the deer, nothing happened so I left room to reset the puzzle.
Read desciption on each statue again: everyone preyed on someone except the eagle so I went from "weakest to strongest".

The area I got stuck alot was the Centurion boss room, cus I didn't see the stairs leading down thanks to the weird camera angle. I was running up and down in the facility for at least half an hour to see if I missed something..... And that wasn't even a puzzle. The puzzles themselves are quite simple so far, but Resi was never famous for insanely hard puzzles.

I didn't even thought that lion could be weaker than snake. I totally missed that point after reading the description many times...

took me a wile as well. i did understood what to do but in what order was rather questionable. in the end i had to youtube it. after i have spend already alone over 30min on it and had enough. i have patience but it has its limits as well with certain things.

Same room I was stuck, dude. But because of crank in my case. I pressed A button near them and nothing happened. I pressed A button so many times that I even don't understand how did I missed the right pixel of one of these cranks, lol.

Already passed this puzzle. But this was not enough for me because I wanted to know why exact this sequence? This was an answer on my question: "Deer gets eaten by Wolf, Horse out runs the cunning or witty Wolf, Horse is fast but Mountain Lion is faster (no one can escape the Kings' grasp) Snakes' venom kills the "King" Lion, Eagle eats its "legless" pray the Snake so..... Deer, Wolf, Horse, Lion, Snake, Eagle"

Have no idea what that book is, though.

Yeah, I remember it being frustrating back then. I think I got stuck because I initialy mixed up a pairing or something, and then logic went out of the window. Now I got through pretty quickly.

Yes, i also had some troubles with this puzzle. I play RE0 for the first time and compared to other RE games puzzles i think it was a little more difficult than others. After a few tries i needed action so i googled it. I like the horror action more than the puzzles so i don t care to much but normaly i don t cheat like this.
